Information about current projects
On 1 July 2018, the Department of Jobs and Small Business (the department) implemented the Online Employment Services Trial, which delivers employment services to job seekers online. The trial was announced in January.
ORIMA Research, on behalf of the department, will conduct fieldwork evaluating the Trial. This research will help refine online employment services and help inform future policy. ORIMA will contact job seekers to participate in focus groups or in depth interviews about their experience of online employment services.
Participation in this research is voluntary, and Centrelink will not know whether a job seeker has taken part. Involvement in the research will not affect any Centrelink payments that a jobseeker is receiving. Information collected by ORIMA is protected by law under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
The location and times of the focus groups for the evaluation are:
Melbourne: Monday 15 October 12:00pm and 3:00pm
Brisbane: Tuesday 16 October 12:00pm and 2:30pm
Perth: Tuesday 16 October 2:00pm and Wednesday 17 October 10:30am
