    Paralympics Australia
  • I would recommend ORIMA because of their competitive fees, their knowledgeable staff, and their excellent client relations, including their collaborative approach to working with you to design and deliver solutions.

    Monash University
  • I have never had a contract with ORIMA where I didn’t feel my contract was their absolute priority. They will bend over backwards to meet timeframes, are flexible with requirements, dig to understand the real issues and drivers behind the work and take the time to identify alternate or better (including simpler) ways to do things.

    Anonymous – Australian Government Agency
  • It’s easy to deal with ORIMA. In Government things are very fluid, deadlines and priorities change constantly. Yet despite this ORIMA is flexible enough to accommodate this and deliver high quality products and services that meet dynamic needs.

    Anonymous – VIC Government Agency
  • We are grateful for the work of ORIMA Research. Their service in administering the survey and ensuring data quality was exemplary. It is every researcher’s wish to work with a group that operates at this level of professional quality.

    Cardus Education Survey Australia
  • In 2018–19 the ACCC engaged ORIMA Research to undertake a survey and conduct interviews with key stakeholders to qualitatively measure our effectiveness in achieving our purpose.  The key findings from this research have been incorporated into this annual performance statement for 2018–19 and substantially enhance our performance measurement and reporting.

    Anonymous – NSW Government Agency
  • We have been so impressed with the level of service and ease of communication between ourselves and the ORIMA Research team. The findings from the research work they undertook for us has been so informative and increased our motivation and confidence to deliver a great project. As a not-for-profit it was important to strike a balance between maintaining a set budget and still getting enough out of the research. The flexibility that was afforded to us meant we achieved the objective of the research while remaining on-budget.

    Mental Health Australia
  • They were fantastic to deal with on this project. Not only were they accommodating to our very short and changing timelines, but they went above and beyond to provide additional details and confirm queries in a timely manner. They also demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of surveying within the public sector along with knowledge from other projects.

Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet

Our projects

Most of our reports are confidential and are not publicly released.
Here are some examples of our publicly available reports:

  • Collaborative research on alternative sources of drinking water, with Aurecon

Most Australian communities’ water supplies are under some level of threat, due to changes in inflows and increases in demand. Aurecon noticed that many of their water sector clients had similar challenges to have constructive conversations with communities about alternative sources of drinking water, especially ones that are instinctively less appealing, like purified recycled water. ORIMA and Aurecon designed a survey platform that can be customised to any location and source, designed to provide objective data on community openness to alternative water sources that is at arms-length to any specific community. Aurecon have presented the research at conferences in Australia and overseas, and published a full research report.

  • Client Experience Surveys for Victoria Legal Aid

ORIMA worked with Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) in 2023 to conduct a series of online and telephone client experience surveys. VLA provides legal information, advice and representation to
members of the Victorian community who are most disadvantaged and in need of support. The primary objective of the surveys was to engage with clients to inform tangible service improvement actions that directly respond to client experience, and to measure the outcomes clients experience as a result of VLA services, including legal advice, casework and duty lawyer services.
